Sand and Polishing

We offer sanding and polishing services to existing and new solid wood flooring. The finishes vary from water based, solvent based or an oil finish. We recommend using water based even though it is the most expensive some of the benefits of water based is the strength of the overall finish and no nasty chemicals so this can be especially appealing for renovations or existing houses.

Finishing or sealing is the final step for raw or solid timber flooring, it is the process that give the wood surface desirable characteristics including enhanced appearance and increased resistance to moisture and other environmental agents.

Sanding and Polishing is a more expensive option as appose to a pre finished engineered board but the long jeverty of life due to its ability to be sanded back and recoated on numerous occasions gives it its edge over its counterpart.
